Fluoropolymer Hose Assemblies for Gas

High performing fluoropolymers have minimal permeability for low, medium or high pressure gas transfer and form part of our range of gas suitable hose assemblies which includes PTFE lined hose assemblies, PFA and FEP gas tubing. ETFE is available upon request.

Metallic Hoses for Gas

Flextech’s range of 321 and 316 stainless steel metallic hose assemblies offer suitability for cryogenic applications as well as high temperature and zero* permeability where a fluoropolymer isn't suitable.

Specialist metal alloys such as Monel are also available upon request.

Gas Hoses & Fittings

When choosing gas hoses, several important factors related to the properties of the gas should be taken into account. These include flammability, explosiveness, pressure and temperature conditions, permeation of gases through the hose wall, electrostatic properties, gas contamination, flow rate, and adherence to safety requirements. It is crucial to comply with relevant regulations and standards while ensuring an adequate safety factor.

  • Have a wide operating temperature range from -200°C to +600°C
  • Are designed for cylinder charging, breathing apparatus, discharging lines and aerosol charging lines, welding, fuelling with gas (e.g., LPG), medical applications, food-related uses, and cryogenic applications

• The T6140 PTFE Braided Gas Hose Assemblies from Flextech is a high-quality, lightweight gas hose that is inert to virtually all chemicals. This hose is ideally suited for cylinder charging, breathing apparatus, discharging lines and aerosol charging lines.

• The T6145 PTFE Lined High Pressure Gas Hose Assemblies from Flextech is a high-pressure, non-flammable PTFE gas hose which operates a wide temperature range of -60°C to +260°C, ideal for food, beverage and petrochemical environments.

• The T6450 Castellated PTFE Hose Assemblies is a medium wall virgin PTFE gas hose and with its helical convolution, this hose has excellent flexibility, kink and vacuum resistance.
